TimeFlies – iTribute

So i’m a litle late to the party on this one. The hip hop/dance duo, TimeFlies dropped a tribute to the late Steve Jobs. On first glance it looks like the guys from TimeFlies are just trying to cash in on the media hype created by Steve Jobs’ death. But when you actually listen to the song you can tell that the guys are 100% genuine. The guys posted the video on their Youtube with this message.

 The song was put together in one day, like all the TimeFlies Tuesday’s and it shows just how much of an impact Jobs had on the guys and it also showcases Res’ production. The track was made from samples using OSX and iOS and staying true to the Apple theme, everything was shot, edited, mixed and mastered on an iMac.

Lots of new stuff coming soon!

Okay, so i’ll be the first to admit i’ve been slacking. I haven’t posted anything since the news about Steve Jobs’ death but there has been some really hot stuff dropping.

SoLo dropped the highly anticipated Dear Future,  Huey Mack dropped a sick joint to thank his fans for getting him to 8,000 followers on Twitter. TimeFlies released a dope tribute to Steve Jobs, Radical Something finally gave us the awesome visuals for the Summer smash “California” and some other stuff happened too.

So, sit back, turn the volume up and enjoy good music.

Steve Jobs dead at 56.

Steve Jobs 1955-2011 Jobs was a pioneer in Apple and helped mould how people bought and shared music worldwide.

Apple’s former CEO and co founder Steve Jobs has died at the age of 56.

Jobs who founded Apple had suffered from pancreatic cancer in 2004 and underwent a liver transplant in 2009 before resigning as CEO of Apple six weeks ago. Before he left, Jobs handpicked his successor, Tim Cook.

The news of Jobs’ death comes just a day after Apple announced its new iPhone, the iPhone 4s.

During his time in the company Jobs helped to design and create many innovative products that were hailed as being daring and graceful. The world famous iTunes music store was created under Jobs’ reign and has become the most popular choice worldwide for legal downloads. By creating iTunes, Apple had changed the way music would be sold and shared forever.
